MYOB Robot @ Pink Cactus

We were commissioned to build a housing for a working robot for Myob. We were involved from the design phase all the way through to construction. With a very short time frame of under 3 weeks, we had most of our team involved. A lightweight Aluminium framework was designed, rolled and welded with a sheet metal skirt for strength. A head was sculpted up and then Vacuum Formed. We made the body section out of a soft foam which was then covered in fur. It’s not often we get to make an object that comes to life like that and gets to interact with people at events all over the country.
