Chinese New Year Pentatonic Roosters @ Pink Cactus

City of Sydney Council commissioned Pink Cactus to build these beautiful public sculptures in celebration of the year of the Rooster for the 2017 Chinese New Year.  Inspired by and constructed using elements and replicas of traditional Chinese musical instruments including Shengs (a type of pipe), Flutes, Gongs and Bells- the five Roosters lit up the heart of Chinatown Sydney -Dixon St Mall in China Town for the duration of the celebrations.
